The Door County Plein Air Festival presented by Peninsula School of Art celebrates the tradition of outdoor painting with some of the finest painters from Door County and across the country. Over 35 artists will put brush to canvas, capturing the summer light over the waters and fields of Door County, Wisconsin. Painting from life and the landscape has long been a Door County tradition, and one that has endured evolving styles. The Sister Bay Advancement Association is pleased to announce that Saturday, June 10th is the date for northern Door County's most-anticipated event for goat-lovers, the 5th Annual Roofing of the Goats Parade on Hwy 42 in downtown Sister Bay. The annual Goat Parade at 10:30 a.m. is a very homespun event that combines goats, Door County visitors, good spirits and general high jinks with what the organizers hope will be beautiful weather.
