The 24th Annual Door County Lighthouse Festival includes boat excursions and guided land-based tours spotlighting 11 historic Door County, Wisconsin lighthouses. This much-anticipated festival gives visitors access to lighthouses that aren’t typically open to the public, including Chambers Island, Plum Island and Sherwood Point lighthouses.  DETAILS!

The 2017 Festival of Nature offers a full slate of
field trips, classes and activities throughout Door
County, and registration opens March 20 at 10 am
CST. There is a maximum number of participants
allowed for each field trip or program, so registering
early is the best way to ensure you get to participate
in the activities you want. (Note: Members of partnering organizations receive a 10% discount on field trip fees.)

The Blessing of the Fleet Festival on May 20-21 begins with the Door County Scottie Rally’s Parade of Scots, followed by a traditional Blessing Ceremony over CB Radio to all vessels wishing to receive it, regardless of denomination, vessel type, or home port.  After the blessing, there will be live music, arts & crafts, food & drinks and activities throughout town. The local sport and commercial fishing boats will be open for touring at the Town Marina so festival goers can meet local captains and crew to ask questions and hear firsthand stories.  DETAILS HERE!

 Be part of the celebration on May 6, 2017 in beautiful Peninsula State Park! Run 13.1 miles of beautiful roads closed to traffic, taking you past some of the most beautiful vistas on the peninsula, through quiet woods, and atop the Niagara Escarpment.

Finish at Nicolet Bay Beach, where half marathon participants receive a race shirt and finisher’s medal. Our 5k finishers also get a shirt, and all participants enjoy a post-race party in the park with beer from Door County Brewing Co.!  HERE'S MORE INFORMATION!
