Take part in this Handmade Paper Intensive - A Sense of Place and Natural Materials at one of my favorite galleries in Door County, Woodwalk Gallery. This is described as "an intensive, yet leisurely 3 day workshop will focus on the basics of making paper in 2 dimensions as well as casting paper into sculpture using armatures and molds from the natural world. We will process some local fiber which can be integrated into the projects. We can share ideas and experiences as we work." DETAILS HERE!

The Door County Century began in 1979 and is one of the most popular rides in Wisconsin!  More than 2,000 people take part each year.  The ride begins and ends at the Door County Fairgrounds in Sturgeon Bay.  There are different routes to choose from...28 miles, 50 miles (Half Century), 70 miles and 100 miles (Century)...each progressing farther up the peninsula and riders enjoy fabulous Door County scenery!  DETAILS!

This year’s festival will include something for everyone. The Corn Cafe will feature brats, hot dogs, burgers, cheeseburgers, pulled pork sandwiches, corn, chips, cookies and more. Kid’s games, temporary tatoo artist, walking the 20 acre corn maze for a donation of $10, corn eating contest, pie eating contest, and tug of war are just some of the activities. Special guest emcee Bill Jartz from Action 2 News in Green Bay will be joining us. Proceeds benefit Sunshine House, Inc.  DETAILS HERE!

A Taste of Egg Harbor, the Egg Harbor Historical Society’s annual heritage picnic will be held in Harbor View Park. The picnic will have a taste of local food and beverage specialties. Walking and driving tours of historical sites will be available. There will be videos, photos and stories of Egg Harbor’s past. Music will be provided. Harbor View Park is, in itself, a spectacular historic vista of the harbor and waters of Green Bay.  DETAILS!
