The Door County Century Ride is the original one-day bike tour on the scenic back roads of the beautiful Door County peninsula. The event takes place the Sunday after Labor Day each year. This takes advantage of a motor vehicle traffic lull that occurs between the busy summer season and autumn colors in October. Four courses are offered -- a 100-mile Century, a 70-mile, 50-mile (Half Century), and 30 miles. There are 6 scenic, mostly waterfront rest stops on the Century Ride. In 2017, just shy of 3,000 riders registered for the DCC. READ ON..... |
